Project responsibilities:

  • Co-development with Customers: Identifying user-centric enhancements to proprietary mixed reality platform

  • Creation of step-by-step MR experiences + Collaboration with engineering to implement features and solutions

  • Train Thermofisher employees on features and best-practices for authoring custom content within the no-code platform

  • Measure key performance metrics such as time to implement each step and recommend pipeline efficiencies

Altoura - Satya Nadella Virtual Meeting

As part of Microsoft's Re-Imagining Work series, Altoura was tasked with facilitating a real-time virtual meeting with Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, in Redmond Washington, and front line workers at a BHP mining site in Australia.  Click the video below, begin at 1:40

Project responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and Execute digital-twin environment + equipment, interactive experience, and narrative flow with BHP

  • Identify tech requirements and functionality, work with engineers on developing custom dev build

  • Prepare, Test, and Verify the experience via multiple dress rehearsals at the Microsoft campus in Redmond

  • Showrunner: Ensure day-of-event support staff readiness, configure, and sterilize the headset prior to Satya handoff

XR - Virtual Physics Office Hours

Learn Physics in VR & AR with SDSU Professor, Dr. Matt Anderson.  In this app, students learn physics concepts in a virtual, interactive setting. Students develop strong mental models of core concepts like magnetism, electromagnetic waves, spherical wavelets and more.  Tap the image to see a video that explains the project in a nutshell.

  • Orchestrate industy+edu partnership between SDSU and Altoura for a college-level physics curriculum in Mixed Reality

  • Collaborate with San Diego State University academic/research team for National Science Foundation grant application

Project Responsibilities:

  • Visual development, motion/audio design & execution for mixed reality project (under NDA) using HoloLens.

  • Integrated seamlessly with existing team and proprietary software on an accelerated schedule.

  • Tools: Blender, UNITY, Photoshop (and more) to execute and integrate compelling 3D visuals, animation, and particle effects based on 2D storyboard concepts.
